Diego Serna was introduced to Theater at a very early stage. His first memories revolve around going to different shows and feeling the need to be on a stage. In seventh grade, Diego had his first opportunity to be on stage when he was accepted into his middle school’s advanced theater. He continued his involvement in theater throughout high school where he participated in several shows including Las Mil Y Una Noches, Beauty and the Beast, and Is he Dead? where his performance earned him an All-Star Cast Award at the Gwinnet County Acting Competition. At age 18, Diego began training on aerial silks and was chosen as the opening act for Mexican comedian Adrian Uribe’s show in Atlanta. Diego then discovered his love for trapeze and further increased his love of performing. Today, Diego continues his performing and training in hope of starting a career in film and/or being accepted into the National Circus school in fall of 2014.
